Our Story
Our journey began over 25 years ago in Kalamazoo, Michigan. Troy was at a crossroads in his career, and I was working as a designer at a flooring company. One day, I suggested we explore the world of tile craftsmanship, and together, we decided to take the plunge.
We gathered the necessary tools, quickly registered our business, got insurance, and we were off to the races. Life took us to Illinois, where our family began to grow, and two of our sons even developed a passion for the craft as well.
While in Illinois, Troy honed his skills and worked on projects with some top-notch builders and designers in Chicagoland for nearly 15 years. While we’ve heard whispers of his work being showcased in two magazines, the elusive publications remain a mystery. Nonetheless, his skill and artistry were highly sought after and celebrated.
Eventually, life brought us back to Michigan, and here we are today—a family-run business with a strong commitment to old-school values. We’re genuinely excited to share our love for what we do with you.
